Listen up Porkers. February 14th, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. To celebrate, we list some of our favourite fictional couples on TV.
Monica and Chandler – Friends
Monica and Chandler have given us some serious relationship goals throughout the seasons. From their first romantic night in London to their proposal and wedding, Monica and Chandler have charmed us every step of the way. Remember that time when Monica made up to Chandler for the Thanksgiving incident by dancing with a turkey on her head. It doesn’t get cuter than that.
Brienne of Tarth and Jaime Lannister – Game of Thrones
Okay, so these guys aren’t officially a couple (yet), but you’d be lying if you said you had never wanted to see them together at some point. Ever since Brienne was tasked with escorting prisoner Jaime to King’s Landing in season three, fans have longed to see these two come together. In fact, according to Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau “Jaime and Brienne are in love – they just don’t realise it”
Glenn and Maggie – The Walking Dead
Despite the gore and guts, these two managed to maintain an epic love story, while slaying walkers along the way. From their first hook-up in the pharmacy shop to their passionate moments as husband and wife, Glenn and Maggie gave us hope during the worst of times. *Spoiler alert* The couple’s romance came to heart-breaking end when Glenn met his shocking demise in the season seven premiere (we’re still not over that by the way).
Oliver and Felicity – Arrow
Although Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak didn’t get together until season three, the spark between these two was clear right from the beginning. Since their awkward first meeting in season one, Felicity has played a vital role in Oliver’s quest as the Green Arrow and if that’s not true love, we don’t know what is.
Come on down to one of our three London locations and enjoy an evening of mouth-watering Memphis BBQ. You’ll be able to wash down some great pulled pork with our Valentine’s inspired cocktail bowls. Call or email us to book your spot, because remember… mates are just as good as dates.
