The Prodigy, Spice Girls, Nick Cave, Björk, Arctic Monkeys: these are just a few of the artists that have historically recorded albums in the famous Strongroom studios. Right now, the premises are almost as well-known for their buzzy bar and amazing outdoor drinking space.
It’s no wonder that we are excited to announce our three-month partnership, where we’ll pop-up and serve our delicious Memphis BBQ food for the punters at Strongroom on Curtain Road, Shoreditch.
WE ARE NOW OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Wet your whistles.
And what a time to do it! As the temperature creeps into the twenties, those in the know actively seek the private courtyard and outside bar at Strongroom. Others walk by the entrance wondering if they’ve stumbled across the hanging gardens of Babylon. This time of year, it’s blooming and one of the best beer gardens in East London.
You’ll find a mix of craft beers and cider to swill with Porky’s special 18 hour cooked, smoked pulled pork. The Porky Burger was a finalist in this year’s National Burger Awards, so you must drop in and try the patty that not many in the country can match.
You might even stumble across one of the many famous musicians that use the studios. More recently, the rooms have played host to Lianne La Havas, MIA and FKA Twigs have recorded and mixed there.
With our BOXPARK venue just down the road and the Porky’s Lab smoking meat around the clock, the food will be juicy and smokey. Our new St. Louis ribs have gone down a storm, and we’ve got a fresh sandwich menu with layers of fresh cold cuts and some more of the steamy stuff.
Come on down and visit us at 120 Curtain Road, Shoreditch, EC2A 3SQ. Bring your wanting stomachs, we’ll make sure they are looked after.
