a flat round cake of minced beef that is fired or grilled and typically served in a bread roll; a hamburger.
It doesn’t sound like much but it’s everything else that is packed in between those two buns that makes ‘the burger’ one of the greatest and most satisfying sandwiches around.
Nominated for the second year in a row, Porky’s owner and Director Simon, is one of the 16 finalists for the National Burger Awards for 2017.
Showing us all how it’s done, Simon has done it again created another crowd-pleasing, cheese oozing delight.
Simon is currently greasing up his favourite spatula in preparation of the LIVE FINAL at the Islington Metal Works in London on Wednesday 22 February 2017.
Without giving too much away, we have grilled Simon to spill the proverbial beans about this finalist burger.
Name: Beale Street Moos
Ingredients: Top secret for now but wait for the big reveal at the live final.

Beale Street Moo goes back to our Porky’s roots and pays homage to our classic Memphis BBQ style.
Yes, there is 100% brisket mince, reoccurring cheese, bacon, pickles & sauce. And for the rest? Watch this space.
Beale Street, in downtown Memphis is known for blues, rock ’n’ roll, southern food and nightlife. 4 of Simon’s favourite things, packed into one street! Drawing strong inspiration and recreating these Beale Street vibes back at Porky’s London, seemed like an appropriate name.
From hundreds of applicants 16 finalists were selected, so a congratulations to all and may the best burger win!
